So if you have been following me for a while, you probably already know how much I LOVE texture! Especially when it comes to a wedding day or elopement details.

So you can imagine my delight when Manon & Corstiaan were dripping in it! From his blush toned suit, to her boho patterned lace dress, everything was perfectly curated!

They thought of every little detail for their perfect destination elopement. The florals by Studio Florals brought new life to the surrounding landscape. The table set perfectly with all the different textured cups and flatware. The lounge area with all of the different textured pillows. Every detail was perfect! Did you know that touching things with texture can produce detailed lasting memories?

Even the delicious food was tapas which totally adds to the boho, textured vibe, only food wise! Being their Barcelona Spain Wedding Photographer was a total dream come true!

Why should we add texture?

I wanted to talk a bit about why you should think about what textures you are picking for your wedding day. Bringing in a velvet table linen or macramé table runner can bring a whole new life to a table. And not only do greenery and flowers bring scent, but also they bring layers of different textures and colors! Where your wedding takes place, be it on the ocean shore, on in the hills of Barcelona, those natural elements bring different textures to you day.
